A word used with a noun to express the quality, quantity, numbers or point out person / thing, is called adjectives. They tell us what kind of, how many, how much, what color etc. persons, places, animals and things are.
Adjectives are used as:
(1) Attributive use and
(2) Predicative use
(1) Attributive use: When an adjective word(s) are used with a noun, is called attributive use.

(2) Predicative use: When an adjective word(s) are used with a verb and forms a part of predicate is called predicative use.

Usually / Generally adjective is placed before the noun but sometimes it is placed after noun also.
